I'm trying to find the low-range mixture screw. Earlier posts in this forum says that it's hidden wiht a plug. I have a Clymer manual, but it doesn't quite really show it. In page 191 picture 20 shows that there is a plug covering something near transient enrichment valve cover...well in my bike this plug has been taken off and there isn't anything there showing, just a hole... Where actually is that mixture screw?
Normally I wouldn't tamper with these things, but backfiring is annoying and often when I decelerate fast the engine stops. I have a model 1986 Savage.
